Have you ever experienced something in your life that made you 2 x's stronger? I think most travel experiences makes you learn so much about yourself that it automatically makes you 2x stronger. That is why when Angel Soft 2x Stronger paper asked me to write a post about an experience that made me 2x stronger, I just had to say yes!
Ever since I was a little girl all I remember is taking road trips with my parents from Michigan to Toronto, the east coast, all the way down to Miami, FL. Each time we took one of these road trips I had to learn something about myself that I of course as a kid didn't want to. But I was a child and I don't really remember what those lesson learned moments were until I went on a road trip two years ago with a couple of friends.
I started out super excited and ready to tackle on the long road ahead. I had already told myself it was going to take two days to get to our destination especially since we were making a couple of stops along the road and it was a medium size group (6 adults and once child); which means tons of quick pee and munchies stops.
One of the things I didn't know I was going to experience was getting frustrated when I wanted to keep on going but others wanted to take a longer break or check out other things that I didn't have planned. Mind you, some of these impromptu stops came with some fun memories such as checking out the Badlands in South Dakota, me getting a warning ticket from the lovely police officer in Minnesota and then using that experience to prank my boyfriend who was in a separate car.
Another thing you experience during a road trip is getting sick of the car. Yes, I said it, you get sick of being in a car for hours and hours on. No matter how much you talk, read, text etc., it gets old real quick! This is another moment during a road trip you need to learn to get over. It is definitely easier said than done, because you want to keep on going because you just want to be at your destination already, yet, you want to take a break, stretch your legs, do some jumping jacks, what have you.
So if you are planning a road trip, take in mind some the things I went through so you can mentally prepare yourself for those challenges and take with you some toilet paper such as Angel Soft so you can be ready for those impromptu stops, just download this coupon here to get yours today!
