Hi.

Welcome to my blog! I document my experiences in travel including drinks, fashion, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Bye, bye, summer!

Bye, bye, summer!

This is a sponsored collaboration with Sprint. All words, thoughts, and ideas are ALL my own.

The last time I checked my calendar, I was getting ready for the summer season. Turns out, this summer had its own plans for me – whether or not I was ready for them!

June was a world wind for me, I went to Denver for my bachelorette, had family from all around the world in town to celebrate two milestones in my life: my civil union to my lovely fiancée and his graduation from Northwestern University’s Kellogg program. To say June was extra special is just scratching the surface!

In the midst of all of that, I had the opportunity to embark on a journey with my friends at Sprint who continue to expand its International Value Roaming service in many of the most popular travel destinations, including an additional 22 countries, and expanding free data roaming and connectivity around the world making it easy for customer to stay connected when traveling.

Although my summer international trips got postponed (destination wedding in October and then honeymoon in the Maldives!), I was still able to use the phone and service to call my family in Venezuela. Staying connected to my family is important to me, especially with the long distances, so having a service like International Value Roaming was amazing to leverage over the last few months. The quality of the phone calls were superb, much better than the service I normally use (won’t disclose the brand name!).

One of the things I learned about this program which really excites me as a travel blogger is the fact that I have access to surf the web with up to 2G speeds at no additional charge! Super awesome, especially since I love to post images of the places I am currently visiting, in real time. Relax and enjoy your travels without having to worry about going over your data, sounds great to me!! Sprint offers no data overage charges meaning data speeds will just revert back to International Value Data Roaming speeds.

The second thing that I found amazing is the fact that you can stay connected with your family and friends through unlimited text messaging from and to any country for no extra charge and call anywhere in the world from selected countries for only 20 cents per minute.

So if you are traveling abroad and want to stay connected for a low price, visit your local Sprint store and get yourself set up with their new International Value Roaming package.
