Osama's death, What does it mean for us travelers?

Last night, as we heard our president Barack Obama give a nine minute speech about Osama Bin Laden's death, the State Department announced travel warnings for all Americans in the U.S. and abroad. The reason why this warning was announced is because of the possibilities of the Taliban retaliating against the U.S.

If you are planning on traveling this week or are currently traveling, I would recommend to keep your eyes and ears open, whether it is on your way to the airport, in the airport, or on your way out of the airport. Also be alert on high trafficked areas in whichever major city you are in. It is known that the Al Qaeda tend to cause harm in areas that are filled with either tourists or large sums of people.

Now this travel warning isn't for you to be scared or start freaking out, it is for you as a citizen of this world, as a person that is against all evil to be on the look out of your surroundings. Just as our friendly Chicago Transportation Authority says on the train day in and day out: "If you see something, say something."
