Hi.

Welcome to my blog! I document my experiences in travel including drinks, fashion, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Today, Traveler's Choice announced their top destinations for 2011. Their list is broken down by the following categories: World, United States, Europe, Caribbean & Mexico, Asia, South Pacific, Central & South America, Africa, Canada, India, United Kingdon, France, Italy, Spain, and Germany.

I love reading list like these so I can add to my travel wish list and be able to say: "I've been there!" So today I will share with you the world destination list that they provided and let you know where I've been and a few tips.

World:

Australia
1. Cape Town, South Africa (definitely on my travel wish list!)
2. Sydney, Australia: I loved Sydney, I discovered Malaysian food here and loved it! Also, one of the 7 Bahai'i temples is located right outside of Sydney and it is breathtaking! It's definitely a must-see.
3. Machu Picchu, Peru: I took a helicopter ride from Cuzco to the ruins and it was a unique experience that not many people can say they had the chance to do! Too bad it has been banned since June of 2010.
4. Paris, France: My favorite memory of Paris was eating crepes in a little shop with the view of the Eiffel Tower and having some delish cafe! I need to go back soon...it's been over 10 years since I went last.
5. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (on my travel wish list!)
6. NYC, New York: I have too many tips...so just click here to read more.
7. Rome, Italy: I love everything Italian...the food, wine, cheese, accent, the clothing! Sometimes I wish I was Italian. Well click here for my reco of what to do in Italy.
8. London, United Kingdom: This was my first international country that I visited once I moved to the U.S. 17 years ago. And till this day, my heart and soul belongs in London....sorry Chicago. So go book your ticket today! Oh yeah and do the free foot tour.
9. Barcelona, Spain: Well if it isn't the motherland! As some of you may know, I am half Spanish, so when I went to Spain in 2006 I wasn't going to miss out in visiting Barcelona. Strolling down Las Ramblas and enjoying the view of the Mediterranean sea, by far my favorite memories.
