Review: Hidden Gardens of Paris

Have you been dying to go to Paris? Or recently booked a ticket to go visit the beautiful city of light? Susan Cahill the author of Hidden Gardens of Paris: A Guide to the Parks, Squares, and Woodlands of the City of Light, wrote a great book that I highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Paris. You will definitely see the city in a unique way especially since she takes you to those tucked-away and off-the-beaten track green spaces that Paris has to offer. I am all about checking out spots that are less touristy and this book is offering you exactly that!

One of my favorite parts about reading this book is the fact that has so many vibrant pictures that instantly transport you to beautiful rose gardens hidden in little corners of the enchanting city of Paris. This beautifully rendered book, is not only a useful tour guide, but a tribute to the gardens as sites of passionate cultural memory, revealing the history and personalities of Paris' past and present.

Hidden Gardens of Paris is available at your local bookstore and at the sugg. retail price of $19.99.

disclosure: I was not compensated to do a review for this book, however a copy of the book was sent to me for me to read and review. All thoughts expressed here are my own.
